H & H Yacht Management is a locally owned and operated boat management company in Myrtle Beach with services that extend the entire South Carolina coast. Our ultimate goal is to help you create memories on the water through our dedication to honesty and reliability. We handle the tedious tasks associated with boating: purchasing or selling your boat, monthly maintenance plans, detailing and anything else you may need assistance with. David Hume
The smooth ease at which the boat glides over water, the peace you find early in the morning when the rest of the world sleeps is what initially drew me to sailing. It was after I moved to the Florida Keys that I knew I had found my passion. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be a full-time mate on several different vessels, including a para-sail boat, snorkel boat and sunset cruise boat. I left that experience with now invaluable knowledge that helped me when I moved to Myrtle Beach where I first worked for the city’s first luxury marina. My time there allowed me to meet each local yacht owner and those who docked for the night. Through my relationships I created there, I became aware of the owner’s sailing related aggravations. It was then that I realized that I could lighten their load and began offering preventative maintenance along with a coworker. The owners expressed their relief and inspired what would become H & H Yacht Management.
Chad Hayes
As a Myrtle Beach native, I got my first taste for the sea when I was just a child. My dad chartered boats out of Murrell’s Inlet during the Summers and was a commercial fisherman during the Winter. As a result I spent much of my childhood running the docks and raiding the fish house to feed pelicans.
My first job was at Wacca Wache Marina, I worked there on and off for nine years. After working a series of odd jobs after college, I ended up back in the marine industry. It was at Grande Dunes Marina where I met my future business partner, David. While working there I was able to get my Master Captain License as well as meet many great boat owners. As a result of helping those customers with preventative maintenance we developed H & H Yacht Management.
